Description/use:
UniKalk Forte is recommended for those who want to supplement their diet with calcium and also need a supplement of vitamin D. It is also available with a citrus flavor.
Calcium is necessary for the maintenance of normal bones.
For women aged 50+, calcium and vitamin D help reduce the loss of bone mineral density during postmenopausal years. Low bone mineral density is a risk factor for bone fractures due to osteoporosis. For women 50+, the beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of at least 1200 mg of calcium and 20 µg of vitamin D from all sources.
Vitamin D helps reduce the risk of falling, which is associated with balance problems and muscle weakness. Falling is a risk factor for bone fractures in both men and women aged 60 and over. For women and men 60+, the beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 20 µg of vitamin D from all sources.
48% of the container is made from recycled plastic. Manufactured in Denmark under pharmaceutical control.
Daily dose:
Adults and children over 11 years: 1-2 tablets with a meal. If taking two tablets daily, spread them over two meals.
