Description/use:
Kliniderm Silicone wound contact layer can be used on all types of wounds, and an overlap onto the intact skin of approx. 2 cm is recommended. A secondary dressing will always be required.
Place the wound contact layer on the wound and remove the outer protective paper before applying an appropriate secondary dressing.
The silicone side of the wound contact layer adheres to dry skin but not to the wound itself.
Can be used for up to 14 days and can be cut to size.
Kliniderm silicone wound contact layer must not be used if there are clinical signs of infection.
- Promotes undisturbed healing and minimizes pain during dressing changes.
- The transparent product makes it easy to observe the wound.
- Silicone on only one side makes application simple, and the dressing does not stick to gloves.
