Unit price = 1 piece
Description/Usage:
FreeStyle Precision Neo (dimensions 59.7 x 86.8 x 8.7 mm, weight 33 g to 37 g) is a blood sugar meter that has been specially developed for insulin users.
However, the meter can be used by all diabetics. The new and lightweight meter is icon-based and has a smart design, with a pressure-sensitive screen that makes it easy to use.
FreeStyle Precision Neo has easily read large and clear numbers even outdoors in bright sunlight. The meter can be used quite simply as a blood glucose meter, but has several auxiliary functions which make it particularly useful for insulin users. One of the helpful functions is the automatic trend indicator, a function that sees through any patterns of high and or low blood sugar readings.
The meter also allows you to record your insulin doses in the built-in medical diary. FreeStyle Precision Neo uses test strips that are individually wrapped for optimal protection until use to ensure accurate readings.
In order to ensure an accurate result and to prevent unnecessary wastage of test strips, the measurement is only started when the test strip has reached approx. 0.6 μl blood (microliters) which corresponds to 0.01 ml. The blood is sucked quickly from the tip of the test strip and the measurement only starts when there is enough blood on the test strip.
FreeStyle Precision Neo can, by also using FreeStyle Precision ketone test strips, also measure the ketone level in the blood.
The meter is initially supplied with a new and improved finger prick, 10 test strips, 10 lancets, USB cable for data transfer to PC and case. All data can be transferred to a PC via the Auto-Assist software program. This software can be downloaded at the website Freestyle website.
With Freestyle Precision Neo you also have the possibility to measure blood sugar in other places on the body than the fingertips.
Please see the instructions for the device.
ATTENTION! Durability on strips: The test strips only last until the stated expiration date.
