Revamil Medicinal Honey Mesh Dressing 5x5 cm

Price per unit = 1 pack of 10 pieces.

Description/Usage:

Revamil's hydrophilic properties ensure a moist wound environment, which, in combination with the high enzyme activity of honey, promotes wound healing. Revamil is particularly suitable for the treatment of acute, chronic, and infected wounds in all wound phases. Revamil is easy to apply, does not stick to the wound, and neutralizes wound odor.

Revamil mesh dressing is impregnated with 100% pure medical honey.

The flexible polyacetate mesh dressing does not adhere to the wound and guarantees a slow release of honey in the wound area. A mesh dressing is for single use and is sufficient for one treatment.

What is the effect of medical honey in a wound?:

Case studies and clinical trials have shown that the antibacterial effect is the most important role of Revamil honey in the wound healing process. The antibacterial effect is primarily due to the high enzyme content of honey. In a moist wound environment, the enzyme glucose oxidase ensures a slow and prolonged release of small amounts of hydrogen peroxide. This effectively kills the bacteria without attacking the granulation tissue.

100% pure honey:

The honey in our Revamil products is 100% pure. The honey is collected from bees in an agricultural-free environment. No pesticides are used in beekeeping or in the surrounding farms.

In the past, Revamil honey was produced in greenhouses. However, it was found that this environment is not ideal for bees as they need more space to fly. Therefore, regions in the Netherlands were sought where bees can fly freely and where pesticides are not used - not even in the nearby farms - and where there are sufficient nectar sources.

Control of Revamil honey:

Each batch of Revamil honey is tested for heavy metal and pesticide residues to ensure the effectiveness of the precautions taken.
