1. The shape of Caya forms an arch that acts as a mechanical barrier in front of the cervix. The fixed edge on Caya effectively and safely covers the cervix.
2. CayaGel forms with the help of cellulose (gel-forming agent), an additional physical barrier in front of the cervix.
3. CayaGel has an acidic pH value; 3.8, which causes the sperm cells to stop moving.
Instructions:
- Caya is inserted together with CayaGel in the vagina before intercourse.
