As a webshop it is today not possible to realize a 0% emission, but at OnlineShoppen365 we want to ensure as sustainable everyday life as possible, in all our processes and functions.
That is why we continuesly are working to improve and implement as many sustainable conditions as possible. The climate and the environment, are therefore included in all our strategic and operational considerations, when planning new initiatives.
Purchase and Goods Receipt:
When ordering products to our stock, we always seek to avoid small "rush" orders, where a shipment of few products is created. Of course, if our customers cannot wait we are naturally open to ensure a delivery, but otherwise we strive for our purchase orders, to have certain volume, in order to reduce the number of deliveries as much as possible.
When we receive deliveries from our suppliers, and if the cardboard boxes are clean, neutral and without holes, then we re-use the cardboard boxes and various filling material, as much as possible.
Packaging:
The packaging material we use, such as filling material and cardboard boxes are made of recyclable material.
Shipping:
We use different freight forwarders and logistics solutions, and we do not necessarily strive for super fast delivery solutions that can contribute to degraded sustainability.
If there is an order line, which is not in stock, we would as a starting point suggest to our customer, that we send the order complete with all the ordered products. In many cases this is OK for the customer, and this way the customer and we, together help to reduce the number of small urgent shipments, and ensures that the volume per shipping unit is optimized, and reducing the total number of shipments.
Every time we pack an order, we try to minimize the shipping packaging as much as possible before closing the shipping box and without damaging the products. This way, we can reduce unnecessary air and stuffing material in our shipments.
Some products are so large or heavy that we strive to use use drop shipment on these products. It means, that we for these orders are able to avoid an unnecessary shipping process and help to reduce the total number of delivery-handling and shipping for the individual product.
Outlet/Sale and products with a short shelf life:

Office, warehouse and administration:
In all our processes and functions, we strive to minimize the amount of waste and to choose the most environmentally and climate-friendly materials and products.
All colleagues at OnlineShoppen365 try to avoid different disposable materials. However, various plastic bottles or cans without a deposit have appeared, and they are of course handled in the proper way at the local recycling site.
Waste management:
In order to ensure as sustainable waste management as possible, we are regularly at the recycling site, and with the right sorting we achieve the best possible recycling of our waste.
PR through sociale media (SoMe):
Several energy researchers have pointed out the energy consumption that is needed and used when posting something on social media. Although we are a webshop that lives by selling products, then we have decided that we will try to limit our use of postings om SoMe.
Our goal is to have a maximum of 5-10 weekly postings on our social profiles and a maximum of one weekly newsmagazine. This is not only to help reducing the energy consumption, but also to show what we call social sustainability.
As a webshop, one of our greatest challenges is to ensure both social and financial sustainability in all our processes and functions.
