Homeopathy

Homøopathy is an alternative form of treatment where små doses of selected extracts can contribute to balance in both body and mind. Homeopathic medicines are extracted from raw materials from nature, after which the substance is diluted several times – either with alcohol or water. After that, what drops can be dripped into water and consumed. Homøopathy is composed of the Greek words ”homois” that means similar and ”pathos” that means suffering. 

Homøopathy is based on the German doctor Samuel Hahnemann's theory from the 18th century. The theory is that a substance in a highly diluted form will be able to treat the same symptoms as the symptoms the substance would give if it were consumed in a normal dose for a healthy person. The dilution of the substances is mostly indicated in decimal dilutions D, which indicate how many times the raw material is diluted 10 times. D6 is altå diluted 10 times in the course of 6 steps.

D4, D6 and D12 are low potencies, D30 is medium and D200 and D1000 are high potencies.
