Description/usage:
Dietary supplement with fiber-rich psyllium husks and colostrum (raw milk) containing naturally occurring immunoglobulin G (IgG). SylliFlor Colostrum consists of coated psyllium husks that release colostrum into the small intestine, while the fibers pass on to the large intestine. This results in a combination product that regulates digestion and provides colostrum to the gut. Crisp and crunchy, tastes good, and does not stick to the mouth.
Psyllium husks are high in soluble fibers, which are well-known for their beneficial effects on digestion. They contain up to 85% fiber. These fibers are very effective at absorbing liquids, with psyllium husks able to absorb up to 40 times their weight in water.
When psyllium husks come in contact with liquid, they swell, forming a gel-like mass that provides fullness in the stomach and intestines, stimulating bowel movements. The dietary fibers in the psyllium husks also contain mucilaginous substances, which have a lubricating effect in the intestines. Psyllium husks are slowly digested and to a limited extent, which is why they cause less gas formation than most other fiber sources.
Daily dose:
For adults and children 12 years and older: 9 g (2 tablespoons) 1-3 times daily. The daily dose should not be exceeded.
SylliFlor Colostrum can be eaten as a topping, mixed into a drink, or taken directly from a spoon. It should be consumed with 1-2 glasses of liquid (2-4 dl).
SylliFlor Colostrum can reduce intestinal transit time and may affect the absorption of medications. Therefore, do not take SylliFlor with medication, but at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after.
It is important to consume SylliFlor with 1-2 glasses of liquid (2-4 dl).
It is recommended to start with half the dose and gradually increase the amount.
Increased intake of dietary fiber may cause mild discomfort in the form of increased bloating, but any discomfort usually disappears after a few days of use.
SylliFlor is gluten-free.
