Description/Usage:

D-vitamin contributes, among other things, to:

• Supporting your immune system's function
• Maintaining your bones
• Ensuring normal muscle function
• Preserving your teeth
• Assisting in the absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus in your body

• Influencing the body's cell division

Daily dose for adults and children over 11 years: 1 tablet per day.

D-vitamin is fat-soluble and should therefore be taken with meals that contain fat to be absorbed into the body. Preferably with fats from avocado or almonds or together with dietary supplement oils. D-vitamin is produced in the skin during the summer months when your skin is exposed to the sun. In the winter months, the sun's radiation in Denmark is not strong enough to produce D-vitamin in the skin. Therefore, the level of D-vitamin in the blood naturally fluctuates with the seasons and is lower in winter than in summer. If you don't get enough sun, you should ensure a supplement of the "sunshine vitamin." D-vitamin is important for the body's absorption and metabolism of calcium, as well as for strengthening bones, muscles, and the immune system. Super D-vitamin contains 85 micrograms.

Who needs a D-vitamin supplement? Anyone who does not get enough sunlight on their skin during the winter months and does not expose their arms and legs to the sun in the summer. In addition, the Danish Food Authority recommends that pregnant women and children from 2 weeks to 2 years of age take a D-vitamin supplement.
