How to use a face mask (Source: Danish Health Authority).

1. Before: Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.

2. Find the front. It is usually the colored side.

3. Cover your nose and mouth with the face mask and secure it behind your ears.

4. Make sure the face mask fits tightly against your face.

5. Do not touch the face mask during use. Replace it often and always if it is wet or dirty.

6. When removing the face mask, grab the ear loops and do not touch the face mask itself. Dispose of it immediately.

7. After: Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.

Remember that the best thing you can do to avoid infection is to follow the Danish Health Authority's general guidelines. Face masks can be used in special situations as an extra protection against infection - if used correctly.
