Description

Nasopure Nasal Rinse System Refill Kit

Price Unit: 1 pack of 40 salt packets.

Description/Usage:

The Nasopure® Refill Kit contains 40 buffered salt packets (made from pharmaceutical-grade Sodium Chloride and Sodium Bicarbonate).

Daily Dosage:

For prevention: Use once a day or after exposure to irritants. For mild to moderate congestion or runny nose - Use twice daily. For moderate to severe congestion, runny nose, or infection - Use three or four times daily.

Usage Instructions and Precautions:

Most people prefer to rinse while in the shower or standing over a sink.

Keep your head straight and look straight ahead. You do not need to tilt your neck.

Place the bottle top in one nostril and aim the tip toward the back of the throat, not the eyes. Do not point the tip upward.

The new Nasopure level lines (only on the 118/237 ml bottle) ensure perfect positioning. Hold the bottle so the water line aligns with the lines on the bottle.

Blow your nose gently. DO NOT BLOCK OR PINCH THE OPPOSITE NOSTRIL WHEN RINSING OR BLOWING.

• To allow trapped solution to drain, bend forward at the waist and gently turn your head from side to side.

CHILDREN If your child has recurrent ear or sinus issues, is disabled, or has difficulty tolerating rinsing, please consult your doctor. Please see our articles on www.nasopure.com for age-appropriate instructions.

Use 1/2 packet of Nasopure salt in the Little Squirt™ bottle & purified, distilled, or previously boiled water.

Encourage the child to hold the bottle as instructed but do not squeeze the bottle for your child. Let the child rinse on their own and gently squeeze a small amount of the solution (approximately 1 teaspoon) into each nostril.

Encourage the child to blow gently.

NOTE: Let your child watch you rinse first while playing with the bottle and getting used to the sensation of the spray.

Seal nostrils with bottle tip.

Block the back of the throat by holding your breath while gently squeezing the bottle.

Learning to block your throat may require practice and will prevent the solution from reaching the mouth, resulting in a salty taste. If this happens, it is not harmful.

GENTLY SQUEEZE THE BOTTLE and let the solution rinse along the nasal floor, make a U-turn at the back of your throat, and let it flow out of the opposite nostril. You may experience a mild burning sensation during the first use. This is normal, not harmful, and disappears with repeated use. Switch to the other nostril and repeat. Let the nose drain naturally.

Exhale through the nose with your mouth closed.
