The CarePlus care overall is particularly suitable for the challenging care of people with dementia. Individuals affected by dementia often have a strong urge to undress themselves. If this goes unnoticed, it can have serious consequences. The person in need of care may not realize that it is necessary to get dressed again or may no longer be able to do so without assistance. This can lead to hypothermia and subsequent complications.
In addition, people with dementia who also experience incontinence may tend to remove their incontinence products. Restless individuals may also have a tendency to tear their clothing.
The CarePlus care overall is made from a tear-resistant and breathable material. The seams are double reinforced, making it almost impossible for self-aggressive individuals to undress themselves or access diaper and incontinence products. A practical, diagonally positioned zipper on the back helps prevent pressure points on the spine and ensures that the overall does not need to be pulled over the head.
The material is only partially bite-resistant.
