Description / Use:

Aquacel Ag+ Extra is made from Aquacel Ag Extra with an added surfactant that modifies surface tension and disrupts biofilm, creating a “therapeutic window” that allows the silver to reach and eliminate bacteria.

It is used for infected wounds and stalled chronic wounds that often contain biofilm. Silver is released as the dressing absorbs wound exudate, helping to kill bacteria.

• Features reinforced fibres for high tensile strength
• Suitable for moderately to heavily exuding wounds
• Can remain in the wound for up to 7 days and can be cut to size as needed
