Description/use:
OmniVita Veg D Forte contains 75 μg of vitamin D3 in small, easy-to-swallow, and vegan capsules. Vitamin D contributes to maintaining a normal immune system, bones, and teeth, among other things because vitamin D aids in the absorption of calcium, which is necessary for the maintenance of bones and teeth.
A supplement of vitamin D can be beneficial during the winter when there may not be sufficient sunlight in Denmark to produce enough vitamin D in the skin. The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration recommends that all adults and children over 4 years old take a vitamin D supplement of 5-10 µg daily during the winter months (from October to April).
Daily intake: Adults and children over 11 years: 1 capsule.
